I get that people love to decorate their homes with faith inspired décor. I prefer my shopping experiences neutrally secular. Speaking of hell… there are a few too many religious items for my taste. Everything is on sale all the time… The bad: Everything is on sale all the time (reminding me of Kohl’s doubled prices with 50% off to make everything a «steal») Store is cluttered to hell. Some of the home décor is really fun and I can see the opportunity of great gift ideas here. Well organized fabric and floral section. They carry many brands and some really unique items the other craft shops don’t have. Visit: 6÷ 29÷ 15 3: 45 pm The good: Wide selection of craft supplies. Now, I have to call on Monday to see if they still have the stuff I purchased but never received from the previous week. Besides, the filled bags are right in front of her, and she could of made sure I received all my bags… but no, she was too busy asking what people are doing for lunch. Maybe I could of checked the bags before I walked out, but I purchased so much, there’s no way I would of known. When I went back a few days later, I realized, I was missing 6 items that I purchased. The part that really made me dock 2 stars (thought about 3) is that, after leaving Hobby Lobby, I dropped off my purchases in my classroom ( 30 min. To top that off, she’s saying «Hi» and giving «Shout outs» to employees who are working and walking by the register. I don’t need a conversation with my cashier, nor do I mind conversation that is work related, but side conversations about the weekend when my 2 small kids are listening is inappropriate. When I proceeded to check out, the cashier (who’s name is on my receipt) chatted with a floor employee the whole time I was there about what they did over the weekend. (I’m tired of butcher paper and borders on my walls). Last week, I went shopping for items I needed in my classroom, and not only did I purchase teacher supplies, but I also purchased wall decorations for the classroom in the home section. We’ve been here several times since it opened, and never had problems… until last week. The store is actually great and my kids love it, as well as I do. I will not be back anytime soon and will spread the poor experience among my community! Finally on my third attempt the gal back there Rae was extremely apologetic and helpful for the first time after being there 3 times somebody finally apologized unfortunately Hobby Lobby your customer service needs MUCH improvement. I had to go back to the store THREE times I was frustrated called their corporate office nobody would help nobody would do anything nobody would even give any customer satisfaction for the inconvenience it was horrible. 15 yards was ordered and they tried to sell me the other nine yards that was off the bolt in the store nobody could find out or figure out why the full 24 yards was not ordered at the same time. I was under the impression that it would all come from the same bolt so it would match. I needed 24 yards of upholstery fabric so they had to order it. I could not get my issue resolved with some fabric that I had ordered. Wow what poor customer service from the Assistant Mangers all the way to the corporate office.
